How to travel to and on Schouwen-Duiveland

Coming by car?

Our beautiful island Schouwen-Duiveland is not even a two-hour drive from Amsterdam airport. Our island has three access roads: the N59, N57 and N256. For a day at the beach, park your car at Transferium Renesse and take the free bus to the beach. In Zierikzee, you can park for free at P1 Havenpoort, from where it’s only a 5-minute walk to the city center. Find out here where you can charge your electric car:

Coming by public transport?

Are you using public transport to get to Schouwen-Duiveland? Take a Connexxion bus. Plan your route on 9292.nl. During the summer season, Connexxion often has great deals.

Coming by (e)bike?

The nature reserves on Schouwen-Duiveland are best explored by bike or e-bike. Bring your own bike or rent one at a bike rental. Besides bicycles or e-bikes, you can also rent go-karts and (electric) scooters.
